If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those
online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime. www.reliable-store.com

here is a service message that Ford put out,, if you check the fuses you will probably see a 20 amp fuse has blow,, try replacing that , if it blows again, you have to get it to the dealer 2008-10-06_132722_1.png

My 2011 Insight is not starting. Message for checking brake system shows. Brake fluid is below maximum but not to minimum level. Can I try to start it by jumping the battery to get it to servicing?

The most likely is a dead battery it will have enough charge to show the dash lights you mentioned but not enough to crank it.Another possibility could be connection to starter motor loose. Also check the leads to the battery are tight.Yes you can try a jump start .Also starter relay may be faulty.

When do I replace timing belt on 2008 Audi A4 (2.0) ? Dealer says 75,000 miles Manual says 110,000 miles current milage is 74,400 Thanks for your guidance. Paul Worley

The manual states the maximum, I always try to replace them around 90 thousand
miles. On some engines, the valves and pistons are an interference setup and if the
timing belt jumps time or breaks ,then the cylinders strike the valves ,requiring
remanufacturing of the head.

the recommended ?? milage for renewing belt on these is between 100,000 -120,000 miles but again this is a recommended time/milage so if you are close to this milage ? i would advise renewal also make sure water pump shows no sign of impending leakagewhilst changing belt and tensioner
