Where is the cam sensor in a 2002 nissan quest?

HI Chuck! The cam position sensor is inside the distributor on the quest. If the cam sensor has gone bad you need to replace the distributor assembly as it is not servicable. Before replacing the distributor, take the cap off and make sure the rotor is turning when you crank the engine. If it is not then check the timing belt as the distributor is driven by the cam shaft. If the belt is broken the cam shaft will not turn and you could get this code. The cam sensor is located under the plastic cover located under the rotor button

2002 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 L engine- Car cranks over, but will not start. Sprayed gas in air intake manifold and car will start and idle perfectly. The whole ignition system has been replaced. Fuel system...

Either the injectors are incapable of spraying fuel or they aren't receiving an electrical pulse. That might be because of faulty wiring/connections or a faulty ECU or it could be the ECU hasn't enough information in order to send a pulse, again because of faulty wiring or connections, the crank sensor or perhaps that is what the security immobiliser does when it is armed.

Check for an injector pulse with an oscilloscope or noid light.

not really but they do suffer from mass air flow sensors to some extent ,had to renew quite a few on these earlier cars when they get a bit older

Car would not start, after siiting for an hour it did start .

mcdevito75 here, BEST BET, let the shop do this work, too many un forseen problems could come up. The stalling and unable to start for a while could also be a bad ignition module, no test for this part, but I would have it changed, for if it is a bad ignition module, all this other work will not fix the stalling and later start of your car.

Crank shaft sensor? is this the same as cam shaft

no each one has its own job,
crank sensor is counting crank shaft rpms
cam sensor is counting cam shaft rpms
is there any lights coming on just as this is happening?
i think you should have the fuel pressure checked when it dies out,you need at least 50psi at fuel rail

Instaling a timing belt on 2002 daewoo lanos

I have a 2001 Lanos and I've replaced my belt twice (after breaking the first one at speed and having to replace the engine). The two cam gears have timing marks that should point towards each other. If you hold a ruler up with the edge of it passing through the center of the cam shaft bolts, the timing marks on each cam should be lined up on with the edge of the ruler and pointing towards each other. The crankshaft gear (not the big pulley) has a small triangle timing mark on it that should point almost straight down. There is a V cut into the oil pan that actually should line up with the cranshaft timing mark. BE VERY CAREFUL because if you rotate the crankshaft independently of the cams, you can tear up the valves very quickly.
