code p 0919 refers to gear shift position control===causes wiring--- poor connections ---ECM---TCM
code p 0925 refers to gear shift reverse actuator --circuit /range performance ===causes --wiring---poor connection---gear shift reverse actuator---ECM---TCM
code p 1351 refers to IDM input circuit malfunction---ignition coil control , high voltage
there is nothing there to indicate a new transmission is required as the TCM ( transmission control module ) and reverse actuator or normally add on units and are separate to the box main
the wiring is always suspect as it hardens and breaks or the connections get corroded and do not pass power properly
I would at this stage not consider a new transmission and if it is suggested , I would get a second opinion from an accredit auto transmission specialist shop with experience on your vehicle

Have the codes read first. It is stuck in limp mode,second gear. Engine and transmission problems can cause this.

If you have other lights, radio,instrument panel. Then the fuse is good. The A/C and the gear selector could have bad bulbs. You have to pop off the bezel and remove the screws to access the A/C. The gear selector, you have to pop off the boot(console type), pull it up, the bulb is on the drivers side.

HI. This is basically a transmission code. The rear box is an electronic gear module, that regulates the shift patterns of the vehicle, during transit. this is a very expensive repair, and it can only be repaired by a certified Jaguar service technician.

The necessary actions will be to have the codes ran at your local jaguar dealership. the codes will give you a better view on the actual fault, and its location, as well.

NOTE_ Depending on the code, there is also a rear fuse box that may be affecting the Transmission control modules functioning abilities. This can occur if the rear fuse box s experiencing a fault.
