1. You can replace the spindle = Expensive
2. You can use a small drill bit (cobalt) and drill though enough to use an extractor to remove the offending piece.

Suggestions to help might be to use a little PB Blaster and or heat on the bolt before trying to remove the offending piece before you attempt to remove it with an extractor. Take your time as you will most likely get only one chance to get it out.

Extractor sets are pretty cheap at Harbor Freight if you have one near you. You can insert the extractor from either side in the bolt hole.

How do I get bolts out that have broken off so that I can replace the strutts on both sides in the rear of the car?

you need to go to auto parts plqse and purchase some liquid wrench and spray down all rusty bolts that you need to replace.let it sit for a while so it can penetrate. take your old broken bolt with you and purchase a drill tap that you can drill out the bolts .this is the same process you use when brake off head bolt.

I was replacing the rear sway bar bushings on my 2001 Toyota Avolan. The two bolt heads that hold the u bracket on broke off. I took off the mounting plate and noted that the nuts are welded on. Do I...

You can try to drill out the broken bolts, or you can use heat, if you can grasp the bit of bolt poking out the back side of the plate. Get the bolt tips red hot with a torch or as hot as you can. Grab the parts of the bolt with a vise grip pliers and try and turn it out. If this does not work, you will have to drill a small starter hole in the bolt to weaken them and allow it to shrink a-bit and turn out.

Trying to replace a rear wheel stud on 2005 grand caravan. it was broken off.

You will have to drill a hole in the middle of the bolt and use a large ease out. Put it in a drill and move slowly.

Broken window got window someone told me I had to drill hole and put in a screw some kind of spring or it will blow out power window is this true and if so where do I drill.

There should be rivets holding the window to the regulator. You have to drill them out and replace them with nuts and bolts.

A broken bolt on the bottom of strut

have you tried useing an EZ out exstractor or left handed drill bits that can be picked up at any automotive store or tool store. If that does not work try completey drilling out the old bolt and rethread the hole for the bolt. If its on the strut and the bolt will be replaced with the new strut try useing a cut off tool to remove the bolt just to remove the strut and replace.
