Check in your manual. There should be a section for messages > reset that should walk you through the reset process

This may very well be akin to what BMW did, where the car recognises when the service is due and has a series of lights as a countdown to remind the driver. If you ignore the service due warning, the ECU (electronic control unit) will display such lights as you have described and make it difficult to drive. With BMW the ECU shuts down completely. You may get around the problem by using a reputable mechanic, rather than the dealership; good luck.

The "service overdue" is a mileage based service reminder. It means you need to change the oil and perfirm whatever other service is recommended for your mileage. If you're up on all your service and the reminder is there it's very likely that whoever did the service didn't reset the reminder. In answer to your question code A is the main code for an oil service. Often times the main letter codes will be followed by sub-codes that will appear as numbers following the letter. Exp.. A-1, B-1, B-2... The Dealership can clarify what each series of codes and sub-codes means in regards to the needed service. Best piece of advice when the maintenence minder hits 15% oil life remaining bring the car in for service. And check the oil at least once a month.

service light ? you mean check engine. . . .when the check enggine light turns on, tmeans somethigns broken( or just a loose sensor) if you dont have any skills with fixing the car bring it to a mechanic. . .. .
