I've got 12volts passing through brake light switch. No voltage coming through to back. I checked at big connector that comes down to lights in back. I'm sure ground and bulbs are good in back. I need 12volts to the green with white stripe wire in back. I have spent several hours on this problem. I don't know now to check voltage path from switch to rear. switch has two big green wires coming out of it with 12 volts these change after a couple of inches via a coupler to smaller white and red with black stripe wire. Car has cruse control. cruse control switch is working properly.

problem was wire from switch to lights. I ran a new wire problem fixed. PTL
The brake light circuit goes through the turn signal assembly to turn off the brake lights when the turn signal is activated.
Maybe you could wiggle the turn signal handle back and forth, up and down, and see if you get intermittent brake light voltage.
DO you , or can you follow harness back through, as in does it go into trunk & under rear seat, then sill plate area by doors or elsewhere? from front, Common route on some vehicles from front to back is behind kick plate on passenger side, or drivers side, then under sill cover under door, and back under rear seat to rear lights. Or right up through center console area.
