Most companies recommend replacement at or before 80,000 miles. It is an interference engine which means the valves can be damaged if the belt breaks while the engine is running.

My holden commodore2007ve berlina has a problem when accelerate or going up hill has some hesitate or cut of fuel 3 or4 times while driving but I slow down every thing become normal

Hi This issue really requires a scan tool ( advise take to holden). There has been some cases where there has been an issue with the throttle body, this may not be the case with your's but its a good start point. if the throttle body checks out ok then i would require more information . Just another point are you sure its not fuel related it didn't start faulting after a recent refill. This may only show faulty under load.

When do i replace the timing belt on my seat inca van 2004

Those belts are usually supposed to be changed every 60,000 miles. Behind the timing belt cover is your water pump. They can make noise when going out, but usually a timing belt makes no noise, just breaks. If you ever have to change the water pump, it is always suggested to change the timing belt as well. VS. If your timing belt gets stretched, it will make a bit of a noise, but your car will start running poorly at the same time. Hope I was helpful

Need to no after how many miles we have to change the timing belt

It is recommended that a timing belt should be change every 100,000km. Honda's and Acura's especially. Whenever the water pump is changed, it is also wise to change the timing belt too as it is all in one spot, and VS. In some cars, [Acura's], when the timing belt breaks, it also can tear your valves in your engine apart, so I hope that this answers your question

I have 151,000 miles on my 2002 4cyl Camry and have not changed the timeing or the sepeitine belt: Is it time to have it done?

Hi:
It is overdue time to change your timing belt and waterpump, as you are on borrowed time on the timing belt. The waterpump and tensioner should be changed along with the timing belt, as they can ruin a new timing belt if they fail. Your serpentine belt should be inspected and replaced if needed too.

My 99 intrepid stalls whhen driving

To the best of my research, because I too have encountered the same problem, the first and best suggestion I have heard is to pull and clean the camshaft position sensors. Of course, get some QD Electronic Parts Cleaner and spray down the wires and plugs that lead to it as well.
Second, check for loose, burnt and shorted wires, or broken ground wires or straps in general over the whole engine. Last, you might want to try replacing the safety shutoff relay or other relays to do with the fuel pump or ignition because they are cheap and could also effect an intermittent fault such as this one. Good luck, and wish me the same?
