1991 Riviera will not start

1991 Buick Riviera Car ran fine until last night. Pulled up to house turned off, went back out about an hour later and the car will not start. Full battery, car attempts to start then as best as I can describe runs for a few seconds and dies, acts flooded. Air filter is clean, plugs changed not to long ago.

    Thanks, I will check the filter. I do not have a manual for this car. Where is the fuel filter on the 1991? This car sits so low to the ground it may be a real problem getting to it, if it is on the underside,

Replaced thermostate but still overheats, fluids flow but when the car over heats the fan do not kick on, the fan however work fine when the car is not overheated. Is this a temp. switch gone bad?
You could still have air in the system but I would also check the water pump on this.

sounds like you blew a head gasket or cracked the head it will be expensive to repair. anytime you have white smoke coming out the exhaust you have water in the conbustion chamber.

Same here. What I do is lock all doors using the button on the driver's door before opening the door, then open the driver's door and lock it manually. That seems to keep it disarmed. I believe it has to be the driver's door for this to work, but I don't know for sure.
