When you toggle the switch to the different positions of seat movement do the motors receive power? Also if one or more of the motors (there are 3 I think) is defective they are not available separately, you must replace the entire power seat track assembly.
this is common, if the seats move an any direction then its not a fuse, these dont use fuses rather a circuit breaker that resets itself and never seen one go bad, sorry for the bad news but it sounds like the lay down part is a motor or cable from motor and the lumber is a bad pump or connection under the seat. most of these that i work on have bad lumber pump motors and that are inside seat some older ones are under the seat, the way to repair is to replace the track, new or used, but if pump is inside the seat then thats another story, the covering needs to be removed. good day.
All windows are given power by the same fuse. A lot of times it is a bad switch. More involved, can be a window motor or track assembly. Test the switch first by removing it from the door and jumping the wires in the connector. (use a test light or multimeter to determine which plug socket has voltage,) If that works, replace the switch. If not, do you hear the window motor hum? If not, bad motor. If it does, window may be off the track, jammed in the track, or the track (regulator) assembly needs replaced. (those usually come with a new motor and arent too awful bad to put in.)
There is a connector that provides power to the seat belt motor/sensor in the doorpost (passenger side) or behind the LH wall molding (driver side). Not sure where the stop sensor is, but I think part of the drive track assembly.
I chose to replace the drive track assembly on my driver side when it was sticking / cutting out in cold weather. Seat belt drive track
This will happen if one side has jumped the running track. this will happen in this case. On most set ups, the motors will be on each side of the track and, if one side starts to malfunction or, jump the track, it will create this situation you have here.
You can correct this by extracting the seat and resetting the track and running assembly.
There are plastic gears connecting the track to the seat assembly. Whne one of these strip the seat will only work or move to one side. Infiniti does not sell a simple fix. You are looking at buying an entire seat assembly complete with the module for all the electronics. It will be at a cost of around $950 - $1000. Once that is in, Infiniti must program the seat to the brain of the car, only then can you reset your memory settings.
Take apart the drive box in front of seat track, on both sides with an allen wrench. You can then push the seat to get at the bolts to remove it. My trolley drive motor had bad brushes. I am now looking to replace the motor, if I can find the replacement.
