Try removing the battery + for at least 2 minutes. it should reset the alarm system. if it doesnt work you need to make your remote work try replacing the batteries and try it

If you don't have the remote then its pretty much useless. I have seen at Pep Boys where they sell replacements for the factory/dealer installed alarms. Or just remove the alarm completely and reconnect everything the way it was.
Without knowing what brand alarm it is a person cannot honestly answer how to disarm it as they all work differently.
If you know a brand and model you may be able to find downloadable instruction on the manufactures web site.
there are many things that can cause stalling a dirty iac (idle air controller) is just 1 of them, clogged fuel filter is another, water in the fuel, clogged air filter, and don't even get me started on alarm systems, especially after market alarms can all cause issues, it could also be a bad mass air flow sensor.i would go least expensive to most expensive, start with cleaning things before replacing them
water is getting into the harness connections for the ECM
use water displacer ( wd-40 or the like ) after a wash or find where the water is affecting and use a spray wax to cover all of the electrical connections
put key in door lock,unlock/hold key over windows will go down....then lock/hold key over, windows will go up,press and hold unlock button on remote for 30 secs, you have just reset the alarm/immobiliser.

Well, my mom found a little button underneath the dash board on the drivers side. And I guess its kind of like the reset button. So she pushed it and started the car and it was fine!
