Where is the shift soleniod located?

The transmission shift solenoids are located in the valve body, which is in the transmission. If you remove the transmission pan you will see the valve body. I believe any faulty shift solenoids are serviced as an entire valve body on the Avengers.

Transmission will not shift automatly, can shift it manually I changed the filter and fluid. i would like to know if it might be the range sensor or the transmission solenoid

most likely it is a stuck shuttle valve in the valve body, remove the valve body and make sure all valve move easily in their bores, the best way to cure this is to install a new valve body with a shift kit.

1999 DODG 3500 AUTO TRANS SHIFTS TO 2ND WITH A LITTLE HELP

I have a 1999 Ram B 1500 Van, auto transmission, 5.9 L engine.
Same problem, trans hesitates in 2-3 upshift, sometimes 1-2
to 2-3 upshift. Posts trouble code P1756 - Transmission Govenor pressure too low at below 15 to 20 Psi. Transmission pump shot or valve body leak stops trans from reaching proper pressure to shift, which is minimum 15 Psi.
Either trans is leaking in valve body, valve is stuck, shift solenoid on valve body is sticking, or pump is shot.
