Jack it up..take off the wheel and look, ASAP! Is it grinding when you spin it? Is there visible oil leakins or visible metal shavings. Sounds like a bearing to me.

1999 mercury cougar v6 when jacked up on rear whole tire wiggled back and forth

Bad wheel bearing. I do believe yours are pressed in. You can remove the spindle and take it to a shop and have them replace the bearing.

Clunking from rear left brake wheel

If the issue is persistent while driving on smooth road, your issue may be related to a bad wheel bearing. If the issue is only persistent while hitting light bumps its probably more related to a bad suspension bushing or component like a ball joint.

I'd inspect both sides and try to detrmine if you see any differences in the sides. If a boot or something along those lines are torn that could be the culprit.

I'd also suggest raising the rear of the vehicle and attempting to move the rear wheels up and down or back and forth (please use jack stands and have someone with you while doing so) to see if the wheels move. That may allow for some clunk that you can maybe see/hear.

Front wheel shakes while braking

Several possibilities. Try stopping the car with the parking brake and see if you notice as much shimmy. While loose tie rod ends can cause problems, it sounds more like the rotors may need resurfacing. A worn wheel bearing could cause a problem. Jack the car up so the wheels are off the ground and see if you can move the wheel back and forth. Loose tie rod ends would also show up with this test.

2007 chevy silverado steering shudder over bumps

Are the wheel lug nuts tight? Jack up the front end and wiggle each wheel to check for loose wheel bearings. If the truck has a lot of miles, the upper and especially the lower ball joints may be worn enough to cause problems. With the wheels back on the ground, have someone rock the steering wheel back and forth slowly while you watch each tie rod end for looseness. If the left wheel moves before the right one does, there is play somewhere in the linkage between the wheels.

I have a wobbly wheel, how do i fix it?

You need to check the hub bearing and the lower ball joint on the vehicle and make sure they are good. If you can jack the vehicle up and can grab the top and bottom of the wheel and wobble it back and forth then the bearing is possibly bad. If you can grab the front and rear of the tire and move it back and forth it could be the tierod end you can have someone watch the parts while you move the tire.

Vibration in right front wheel. i think i either have a bad drive axle or hub bearing. usually when coming to a stop i feel the vibration

Easiest way to check and see what the issue is. Jack up the front end of the vehicle and support it on stands grab the top and bottom of the wheel and move it back and forth check to make sure it is not in the lower ball joint, if it moves back and forth very freely it is either the bearing or the lower ball joint. Grab the front and rear of the tire and move it watch the tie rod end and see if it has slack in it the other wheel should move as much as the one you are moving.

My 2005 Impala is making a roaring sound when I turn into a curve driving....What does this mean and how can it be fixed??

It sounds like one of your wheel bearing needs to be replace, most likely one of the rear bearing may have gone dry and needs to be replaced soon as possible before you have a total bearing failure and loose a wheel. With the car parked, go to each wheel and push back and forth on the top (side to side) you should be able to hear and feel which wheel has the play since it's will feel and sound different from the other wheels. The rear wheel bearing can be replaced with simple tool and under 1 hour if your good with tools and the front will have to be brought to a shop since your going to need am impact gun to remove the front axle nut from the wheel hub. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted if your going to replace the rear wheel hub your self and i can give you the instructions to replacing the hub. I believe the rear hubs goes for around $170.00 at Auto Zone and they can give you the step by step instructions too.
