SOURCE: Chrysler LHS o2 sensor testing

If u know u have a bad o2. I guess u must have used a scanner or equivalent. There are 4 o2s on LHS. The way u can tell the difference is by the # sequence that the failure code is giving u. For example the o2s on the right side are even # on the left odd #. Pre cat is 1 after cat is 2. So if u have bad 2/2 Than u know it's right rear or a bad 1/1 is left front ect ect. First make sure u have the right code. With out a scanner. it can be done with a volt meter or a vantage, but it's a heck of a lot easier pulling the codes.

SOURCE: 1997 chrysler lhs turns over but no spark.

Try the crank sensor this is the sensor most likely to cause this not the cam sensor. To get to the crank sensor you will have to jack up the passager side of the car and the sensor is located on the transmission bell housing about 3/4 of the way up on the trans were it connects to the engine.(all on the passager side of the trans) It has a 3 wire plug and one 10mm bolt that holds it in. Hope this helps

My 97 chrysler lhs stalls when taking corners, why?

Left or right turns? Most stalling issues while taking corners are the result of wiring rubbing somewhere on the engine/body causing shorts. Check all wiring looms/harness for signs of rubbing that may result in a stalling situation. If stalling on both left and right turns, possible fuel pump problem ( especially if you run a low fuel level ). I have also seen stalling from the ignition coil caused by its internal oil level to be low

1997 sebring is running good for 5 minutes then is spitting and stalls then won't start for at least a half an hour.

Sounds like the plugs may be fouled or the fuel filter needs replaced. I would start with these two easy and cheap fixes!

On a 1997 chrysler L.H.S. dash gauges don't work. not even the speed meter.

Had the same problem with my 1997 lhs went to the wrecking yard and picked up a speedometer head only also can be found on e-bay.Price is about 35.00 dollars It fixed the problem right away.Very easy to switch out took about 1 half hour to do. 1996-1997 will fit. It sure is nice to have everything work again.

Well car is fine warming up in the morning.Start to drive and it stalls but will start right up again. This will happen 4 to 5 times with in a 3 mile distance. Then park car for about 1/2 hour try to start...

try primeing the fuel pump by turning the key (dont try to turn over just turn it were all the lights come on inside) do this 3-4 times and if it starts then it is your fuel filter. Replace it. Fuel FIlters are cheap and easy to fix but you might need a special tool and it can be a knuckle buster go to your nearest auto store and they should be able to push you in the right direction.

Car stalling out and bot starting after being driven for awhile.

mcdevito75 Here, It"s possible the ignition Module is going bad, no way to test and if so, one day the car will not start at all.----------It can also be a vapor loc, wher the fuel is evaporating before it reaches the cylinders. Best Bet, have your local shop check both these items.
