Please visit http://www.troublecodes.net/neon/

for clarification of your error code. But I strongly believe you fixed a low rated fuel pump.

also from your explanation you got code 55 which means no error code was recorded.

2001 Volkswagon Gti- engin light came on car drove

your computer can have those codes stored in memory although theres nothing actually wrong. you can unplug your battery for about five minutes then hook it back up this should free the codes out of the system.also if youve traveled more than 30,000 miles id relpace the plugs in do a complete tune up.

Fuel pump issue, gradual flooding

NEED TO QUIT GUESSING.. IS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON.. SCAN FOR CODES. IF NONE THEN NEXT STEP IS TO CHECK FUEL PRESSURE.. IF IT IS GOOD.. THEN IF IT IS FLOODING OUT. ONCE IT IS FLOODED YOU CAN PULL SPARK PLUGS AND FIND THE ONE THAT IS WET,,, SUSPECT THAT INJECTOR TO BE STUCK OPEN

96 2.5 cherokee 2dr sat for a month, charged batt. , drove 4 miles, died, no power. had alt. tested, passed, got new batt., now it turns over but will not fire. Please help!

Make sure that all the wiring disturbed by the battery change was restored. Do you have the check engine light on? If so, rent a scanner and read out any code(s). Pursue the codes to repair(s). You can check the ignition by removing one spark plug wire, connect it to a spare plug and set the plug base on the engine. Have someone try the starter while you watch the plug--it should flash at regular intervals while the starter turns. If ok, let the car rest for a while, then have someone turn-on the key (don't try to start) while you listen at the fuel tank. You should hear the fuel pump run for a short time, then quit. That means the pump has built pressure and is awaiting start. If it continues to run, the pump may be toast and should be replaced. Change the fuel filter.

I have a 1992 hyundai Scoupe (this car wasn't on the list) with a 1.5L I was driving down the road check engine flashed on engine quit running I waited 15 sec. car stared drove about 1 mile same thing...

You'll have to get rid of that check engine light as it indicates a malfunctioning part. Whether you like it or not you'll have to take it to a shop to do a diagnostic check on it. Check the fuel filter or a relay that's associated with the fuel system. It seems to cut out when it gets hot, check to see if there are any relays in the fuel system.
