No sound comming from the left side speakers in my 04 Envoy XUV.

Rt side sounds great, all other radio functions and single CD player work fine. left speaker works now and again for weeks then stopped working apart from avery low level tinny volume.

Its the 02 Evoy SLT stereo problem. I have no sound from rear speakers and limited tinny sound from the left front speaker. The right front speaker works fine with radio tape and cd Tried balance and fade controls but no success.

What else should I check to resolve this issue

First> road vibrations can cause cable connections to come loose so you can start by taking out your radio and making sure all of the questions in the back are connected as they should be.
Second> if this doesnt seem to work then the next step is to check the wires going to the speakers that arnt working (this will b quite a job, but if you can do it, it will save u quite a bit of money) .. checking the wires your checking for >bad connection to the speakers >cuts in the wire or if any part of the wire is touchin any other metal object

Premium Bose XM/AM/FM/CD/Radio in 2004 GMC Envoy XUV has no sound. First the AM/FM quit working like the unit did not see an antenna. I had the body control module re-flashed which fixed my speedometer,...

You should be seeing BCM trouble codes (DTCs) for the radio with a code reader. I am assuming you are hearing something (noise) from the speakers with the radio on. If so, you may have lost the programming in the radio - you could try re-flashing it. However, that radio has a number of memory locations that are set whenever the radio is turned on - one or more memory modules in the radio may now be faulty.

04 GMC Envoy XUV midgate window fell won't come back up; motor runs ,window won't move

The same thing happened to my '04 XUV. Discovered broken white nylon/plastic that retains the end of the lift cable. Ordered a new lift gate motor/mechanism assembly ($250) online and replaced it myself. Be sure to buy a new limit switch ($13) also. I did not and regretted it because you must remove the old limit switch from the old motor assembly so you can re-assemble it to the new motor assembly. While removing the old switch from the old assembly, I broke it. Had to then order a new switch. The cost to ship the switch separately was more than the switch. The whole thing did not really take that long and was surprisingly easy. It works great now.

My radio on a '04 gmc envoy XUV is only workng on the driver side front speaker. tried another radio and the problem is still there.

If you have tried a radio then the only other thing left is the amplifier. It is located on the left side behind the rear quarter panel.Good luck.

2004 envoy xuv tailgate problems, will not latch or open sideways. I have a 02 Envoy SLT the rear liftgate Dose not have power. the wipers dont work the Lock dont work I can not program my keyless entry....

I also have a 2004 GMC XUV. My gate would go down but not swing open. In trying to fix it, the gate then refused to go to the flat position.I have removed the cover plate on the gate and found the one of the solenoids loose from its mounting. Resetting the computer by disconnecting both battery leads and holding them together for ten seconds worked to restore function to the gate going flat, but the swing still does not work. I believe it is a bad solenoid or motor for the bottem left latch pin.

No sound comming from the left side speakers in my 04 Envoy XUV.

Did you try your balance control on the radio? You will find FADE, and BAL. The balance will move the sound from side to side. If thats not it, it sounds as thought one of the harnesses behind the radio came loose. Hope that helps
