I just notice water on the floor of the front passenger side of my vehicle. I soaked a clean paper towel onto the water and it's clear when I squeezed the paper towel and it doesnt have a small or color. It appears to be water. Where could it be coming from? My vehicle is a 2000 jeep cherokee laredo
Water on the floor indicates a heater core leak. You may also find a mist coming from the inside of the car when you run the heat and or AC. If this is the case, have your heater core checked out. Best of luck.

There could be several reasons for this. The coolant concentration could be low (too much water to coolant ratio) or it could be so faint once it passes through the insulation and carpeting to get to the floorboard you wouldn't notice a smell at all.
Kindly rate my solution if you felt it answered your question. Thanks very much. All the best!

I have noticed a mist when the AC is running. It just puzzled me with the leakage being water and not the color or smell of coolant.
