I just posted the question about the dead battery and the radio/cd player/clock not working. The time appears but won't change and when the radio is turned on "error" appears. I tried holding the 1 & 6 buttons down while turning the radio back on with ignition in position 1. At this point I should be able to enter my 5 digit code, but.... a 4 digit code appears. If I enter this on the second number the radio comes on and channels can be changed. However the clock cannot be changed even though it is flashing. Then when I turn the key off and back on I have lost the radio service again. Do we need to disconnect the battery and start from square one? I believe it did say "CODE" in the very beginning when this all started a few weeks ago. Also the car does not have a built in navigation system. Thanks for any help offered.

Last night I emailed about my 2007 accord which had a non working radio/clock/cdplayer due to the battery going dead. With the suggestion I received I was able to get it working. We had pushed a few buttons prior to this and so "CODE" no longer flashed on the panel. Instead we got "ERROR". By pushing 1 & 6 a 4 digit code came up which allowed the radio to play until the car was turned off. Then I just had to reset it when turning back on. So I thought I would go back to square one and have my husband disconnect the battery. This got us back to "CODE". I then followed the direction in the manuel along with the suggestion received on this site. And now IT WORKS!!!! Wonder how much money this saved me????? Anyway I love this site and will certainly use it in the future. I have already reccommended it to others.

The radio works, the clock and everything else works. Only the CD does not work. I have no error codes. I also tried the procedure and power-on and 1-6 keys, but nothing. Thanks

Try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.
good luck

----- Error code radio Honda Civic 2007 -----
power on radio, when you see Error code 1 or 2 or 3 ..., power off the radio, press the keys 6 and 1 at the same time, and power on, you'll see the radio serial number, write down this S/N and call your dealer, give him this S/N, he will give you the code (5 numbers), that's it that's all

I changed the battery in my 2007 Honda Accord LX. Now the radio clock is flashing and when I try and turn on the radio is says ERROR #. Each time I touch any buttons it spells out CODE one letter at a time...

Look in the glove box for the code , some dealers stick it to the box door. When it ask for code punch in those numbers. Some dealers put the code in the front of owners manual too. I think its five numbers

The battery in my 2004 honda accord died. I got a jump and now the stereo won't operate and the clock just flashes. What do I do?

You have to put in the code for the radio, it is usually on a card in your owners manual. whenever you replace a battery, or disconnect it the code has to be entered. same thing happened to me.

2007 Honda Accord--battery died now radio and clock don't work

Hi. Jumping the battery when the radio is turned on will often cause a problem. I would check the fuses for the radio first as one of them may have blown. Regarding the clock it is blinking and needs to be reset.

Since this is a relatively new car I recommend going to a book store and purchasing the service manual for Honda which includes the 2007 models. This will you how to reset the clock. Then keep the manual in the glove compartment for all future reference.

Good luck.

I had to jump my car and now my radio and clock wont work.

Get a boyfriend stop jumping the car...JUST KIDDING. You must have a reset button, it's not very big , you can push the reset with a pin, it's a small cercle on the right hand side of your radio. Try that and let me know

I need code for my 2005 honda accord radio

Check owners manual, made written on inside of covers or on radio pages.  IF not check inside of glovebox for four digit code.  If not luck, remove radio document all number, ie serial number on unit and call local honda dealer.  They must run the VIN and radio info back to the motherland to get lock code.
