I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus thathas recently begun to shake violently at low speed and the check engine light blinks constantly. The oil light has been occurring for a little longer, but I got an oil change done and had thought that was the issue. The oil light doesn't come on if it remains at highway speeds, and the shaking is not noticeable either, it hi ist sounds like something isn't right any ideas?
SOURCE: car engine light on light blinking shaking over due for oil chang
Your engine has a cylinder miss-firing, that not only shakes the car but makes the check engine light blink the cylinder number that is missing, don't drive the car this way or u will overheat the exhaust catalytic converter, this can cause a fire.

I had the shaking problem too, had the #5 coil replaced and the shaking instantly stopped.
SOURCE: Shaking engine, weak power, blinking check engine light
You have a bad coil pack, they usually crack from age and heat. It's best to replace them all. Check for a VW recall on this item.
SOURCE: My check engine light is on and it often shakes
Bring it in so that the check engine light will be off and it will run smoother.
SOURCE: The car shakes at 35 mph then as you increase
It can be the suspensions or the shock absorbers, check also the engine mountings.
i will be good to take a full checkup of all the links and suspension bushes in the car. so a full test on the shocck absorbers, test the wheel bearings the hubs and if the discs are bend even is if the balancing was done.
