my 1998 buick regal is slipping in 1st gear. when i am at a stop if i press the gas too hard its like its not gripping some where it don't want to move but as soon as i let up off the gas and press it lightly then its fine. it only does that in 1st gear right now. i am wondering if i am going to have to replace the transmission or if there are other possible soloutions to the problem.

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on a 99 regal gs supercharged

should be on the fuel rail, take the plastic engine cover off and you should see the injector rails on either side of the supercharger, got to be real close to the line towards the firewall

Slipping in 1at gear

just check the buttom of the pulleys or buttom of the car for leaks or tensioner pulley , sometimes bearings in tensioner wear out i had similar issue with gear slipping it happened to be a leaky water pump and antifreeze getting on the pulleys while the car is running, causing belt to slip and tranny slip feel similar as you described , i replaced belt and water pump and no more issue

Supercharger leak on 2001 buick regal gs

maybe it has too much supercharger oil in the supercharger , that maybe be true what they say , it can be taken out , it should take two 4oz bottles, check your supercharger oil level, too much of it is not a good thing, overflow? it should take only the amount that is required, so dealership should know that

Buick Regal Gs supercharger nose assembly please help if you can

the 3.8" supercharger (belt) pulley? You need a special tool as they are press fit.
www.intence-racing.com and www.3800performance.com

both carry it and offer the tool for rent as well.

Much of the noise comes from the coupler, however there are case (needle) bearings as well that wear, Those are much more difficult to replace.

Hello

locate the vacume lines under the top cover(plastic lines) of the engine, then trace them down to the lower front of the engine compartment, you will find the canister, and the solenoid.
