Check engine light on

check fuse 50 in the engine bay. I think it wrongly attributed to the 'rear defogger' which is already mentioned in the internal fuse box as fuse 43.

also check the contacts on the windshield for continuity.

Check the pressure in the fuel pump
Check the fuel filter for dirt
When there is weak fuel pressure, it generates this type of failure
Also check the compression on the engine cylinders

Some automatic vehicles rely on the brake switch (mounted on brake pedal) to be activated by depressing brake pedal. This signal then operates a relay and switch, to release the gear lever.

Firstly, I would check the brake pedal switch (are your brake lights working?).

If brake switch is confirmed OK, then inspect the relay (and related circuit components) of the gear release switch.

The VSC warning light, Trac Off and check engine is probably an easy fix. If you look under the air filter/cleaner box there is probably a rubber hose that has been disconnected from a steel line. This is common if you have had the oil changed recently, the tech will check the ail filter and doesn't realize the hose has been disconnected.

I'm not a lexus guy , but I'm thinking that you have a vacuum leak somewhere.

VSC means Vehicle Stability Control.

It comes on when the sensor send a signal that the vehicle is not stable on the ground.....check the wheel balancing and alignment and the air pressure of your tires too.

It is not necessary but it is nice to keep the system clean and odor free. Kinda like your furnace filter not necessary but a good idea.

Possibly the new pink style antifreeze that turns into gunk and systems needs flushing mayb blocking the heater core

no. the next time the light sets codes you need to have the coputer scaned.
