My 1988 ford f150 will not start... the ignition system is fine, i have checked all of that. But my fuel pump is getting no power at all. Everything is brand new on it, i just bought all new pumps, sending unit etc... but still no power. Then i replaced the inertia switch and powertrain control module and still nothing... i am completely out of ideas... What have i overlooked? I need to find a diagram of a 1989 Ford F150 to tell me how the wires run from the relay to the fuel pumps.
First go from the chassis & check for 12v lines if there is 12v present when you check fromm the chassis then you have a bad ground connection
SOURCE: no power to fuel pump or fuel pump wiring harness...
need to check for power to fuel pump relay and wiring to pump
