I had a piece of cloth shut in my window to keep out the sun. When I powered the window open, it opened all the way, but will no longer close. The switch seems to be locked though unlocking the switch on the driver's side panel did nothing. It cannot be rolled up from either the driver's side or the passenger side. All the other windows can be controlled from the driver's side and function properly.

Try removing the fuse to the windows and see if that resets the system. I know what your talking about of the 02 Altima, have a issue with mine using to much oil and the dealership says there nothing wrong.
Hope this helps with the window issue

Quite possibly yes...I would first check any relays and/or fuses just in case. A few dollars for a fuse or relay is much cheeper than say $100.00 and a few hours of labor.
You can purchase just the window motors from any major auto parts stores. You can also purchase the window motor with the regulator. The regulator is kind of like a rope and pulley system to lift the window up and down and the motor is attached to this assembly. It is a little more expensive but I would change both. I always change both just in case the regulator is bad and it isn't the motor. You will have to remove the plastic interior of the door in order to change either the motor or the motor/regulator assembly.
Any questions, feel free to ask!

It is likely the window motor is wearing out and will need to be replaced. You can always try a different switch on those wires to rule out switch problem. Otherwise, the motor will have to be replaced.

The door lock actuator in that door is weak. Need to replace it.
