What does SYSTEM CHECK MEAN flashing on the radio
I tried all of the above nothing worked ... Every time i get into the car the same message flashes on the radio ... SYSTEM CHECK... i turn on the radio and it works fine except i have to set the clock every time and the sound setting ... Its really annoying
the fuse for the radio, is a memory fues. 2 fues. on for power, one for memory, when mem fuse blows, it cant store stations on all radios from 40 years, now. your post has no year, so.?? use a scan tool , see all those errors, this just a simple radio issue car drives perfect. and all else too?
post year and country and i can look up fuse. why not?
the new cars the antitheft feature bricks the radio, and will ask for a code to get sound. the clock snd memory both use same fuse, replace the fuse, or test them all with a 10 meter for 12vdc both sides, keyon,, takes me 5min work to do that, not guessing fuse location and all that wasted effort.
Its not the security functionality ,,it works as it's supposed to .... Its the clock and the audio setting and all the radio channels that needs reprogram every time
Im not sure where the fuse is ...its 2013 vitara contry tunisia ..thank you
the fuse blew, and that runs the radio memory
so now it cant remember anything and time tops the list.!!!
easy huh.
when any thing electric fails check fuses FIRST. a law, to live by.
why not open the glove box, and read the operators guide. it shows all fuses.
lost that, then BUY ONE, stop being helpless?
and post what country you are in.
and engines size.
then we can give (only) right answers.
our books are not any good for cars out side USA, and this is a USA forum. so....
why make us guess. all that.
take it to a shop, where the guy can see car
see engine, and all options
then look at his driver license, ah, im in Germany...
GV are sold world wide, case you didnt know.

No tricks...if you got any of the original paperwork with the vehicle check and see if anyone wrote down the code (on the inside cover of the manual etc) If not, go to any dealer and show them that you are the owner and they can get the code for you. When you get it, write it down so you will always have it! (I never heard of a dealer charging for that info)...Good luck with your vehicle!
Its below the Dashboard, on the left side of your knee. You have to use a torch & locate it from under the Dashboard, Its roughly near to the Clutch Pedal.
Here, it looks like this:
