Well since the lights are controlled by the OBD (on board diagnostics), you'll have to reset it. You may be able to do this by simply disconnecting the battery for a few hours. However, a lot of newer vehicles have electronically locked radios which require the manual to be able to be re-enabled.

I'd check out the radio before disconnecting the battery.

The only other ways are to physically disconnect the lights in the dash or get someone with an OBD reader to clear the codes.

SOURCE: Transmission Dipstick

you have no dipstick in the manual trans. it's non-maintenance kinda system and its sealed.
unless it's leaking you don't need service.

What is the anti theft radio code for Nissan frontier 1998 xe?

There is no one line of code that is a fit all for modern car radio's, the code varies with the radio serial number, I have heard of people putting radio's in the freezer for 24 hours to eradicate the code but I have never tried it, I would send a letter to Nissan with the model a serial number of the radio and car model requesting the code number, this always works for me.

How to check and add transmission fluid in a 2001 nissan frontier

Im guessing this is an automatic, theres a trany dipstick, engine should be at operating temp and the truck level remove the dip stick and wipe clean then reinsert and pull out the fluid should be in the hass maxs. if this truck is manual trans then the trany is checked from under the truck, remove the fill plug on the side of the trany and fill unttil oil runs out the fill hole. hope this helps.

When changing the transmission fluid on a 2.5 4

Should be around 2 2 1/2 quarts, just fill it up until it starts to leak out, and plug it back up, since manual trans don't have a dipstick, check it with an allen wrench.
