Locked keys in the trunk
SOURCE: my trunk will not open
Take your serial number to a lexus dealer, and have them cut a key for you. If your key has a "chip" on it, just use the new one to open the door, not to run the car.
SOURCE: The interior trunk latch button doesn't work
Does your rear seat fold down? If not, it can be removed for access to the trunk, but is a pain to get out. Usually there are bolts attaching the upright part of the seat at the bottom of the upright cushion, where it meets with the seat cushion. After removing those bolts, the upright cushion needs to be pushed up (usually difficult) to disengage 'hooks' at the top to the seat cushion. You can also go to the dealer with proof of ownership, they should be able to cut a key (you need the vin of the car) or possibly a locksmith to make a key. Good luck.
