SOURCE: 1998 GMC Sierra radio and display stays on all the time

First of all...does your truck have the retained accessory power (RAP)? If it does, the radio would always stay on with the key off until you open the drivers door. If it does have RAP and the door pin on the drivers door has went bad, then the truck doesn't know that you opened the door and continues to allow accessory power (although it would still cut off after about 20 minutes). If the interior lights come on when you open the door, then the pin is ok. If the lights come on, it could be the RAP relay. If it has gone bad, it is possible it is stuck supplying power and needs replacing. The relay should be labeled in the fuse panel, and there should be other relays in the panel with the same part number. You can swap a relay for the RAP relay and see if it fixes the problem...if it does fix it swap the relays back and replace the RAP relay. If the truck doesn't have RAP then it is possible the problem is in the radio..if you have a friend with a GM car or truck close to the same year you could swap radios and see if that fixes your problem...should be pretty simple. pull the cover off the dash, it just clips on, take out a couple screws that hold in the radio, unplug it and plug in the other radio. sorry so long winded...hope this helps you somewhat.

SOURCE: fuel pump fuse located on 1997 gmc sierra

The fuse is actually a Relay Switch and its located in the Fuse Relay Center on the driverside of the engine compartment. The Black Box is labled Fuse Relay Center, the diagram on the cap displays which Relay is the Fuel Pump relay...the Relay switch is usually $8-$15 depending on where you shop

DTC P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 1

You will find a bad O2 Sensor behind the converter or a bad catalytic converter on the bank 1 side of the exhaust manifold. This is the one on the drivers side.

1999 GMC Suburban 1500. What can cause a battery drain in 1990 GMC Suburban?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

The first obvious thing to do it check for lights left on, dome light, hood and trunk lights.

This is how you test for what is causing the parasitic drain.

Atc automatic transfer case fuse draining my batter

A fuse, itself, cannot drain a battery. It will be the equipment serviced by the fuse that will be the problem.

Truck Battery Keeps Draining?

Well the fuse itself is not the issue, but there could be a solenoid or other electrical component draining the battery. And also cause the light to be on.
I would have the body computer scanned for trouble codes to find out why the service light is on. There should be trouble codes just like when the check engine light is on.
You could probably pull the fuse and run it in 2wd also.

My atc fuse would keep blowing I put a bigger fuse it didn't blow that but I herd a zap noise from my TCCM now my 4x4 won't work 1999 jimmy

What you have done? You Just damage the TCCM and that's why you will not manage to shift 4x4. Why this happened? Because you had shortage somewhere and you receive blown ATC fuse. You put a bigger fuse in capacity where the was stronger to blown and the fault moved to the tccm system which was not protected and blown.Ask for an expert to check and see whether the fault is easy to get fixed.

ECM I fuse keeps blowing in my 1996 1 ton gmc sierra 4x4 with a 454 v8 engine whats causing it

For the ECM 1 fuse to open you obviously have a short to ground , start with the injector disconnected and see if ECM 1 fuse still blows. If it does disconnect crank sensor, also inspect wires for the injectors or any rub through wires here is a diagram cansmo_178.gif

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra with a plugged drain hole causing water to leak onto the front right floorboard. Where's the drain located?

Here is link to your HAVC system to your Sierra and #22 is where your A/C drain hose is located on the fire wall, passenger side. Find the hose to make sure there is no dirt that has clogged up the tube.
