Really need a scanner...try auto zone or similar store. They have a scanner they can plug in and read/erase codes. You can try and take negative off battery for a bit then hook back up...

the start points for entering the radio code are either when the radio says code or displays an error 1, 2 or such. once you enter the code it should beep once and turn on. It sounds like you are following the procedure though. Is it possible the audio unit was damaged?
