Radio code won't work

I have my reset code # for 2005 Acura TL, however my #3 button will not register when I push it and my code contains the #3 button twice. It's not like its worn out it still looks brand new. When I push it it feels like all the others, it does not stay pushed in or anything. Is there anyway to remove button cover and try to make contact or to reprogram radio with another code?

SOURCE: how to change spark plugs on 2005 acura tl

Hi,

you need a 6 inch extension, short 3/8 ratchet, 5/8 plug socket, 3/8 swivel "u" joint, (sold at sears) 8mm 1/4 drive socket deep well and 1/4 inch ratchet.

find the coil packs (6 total, three in each head.)
remove the two retaining nuts holding each coil pack using 1/4 8mm socket and ratchet.
twist the pack to break the sticking boot below.
pull up (be careful to not rip the boots however it may still happen but rare.)
remove coil packs, the rear is a little more difficult with the intake.
use 6" extension and u joint and ratchet to remove plugs and replace.
reverse order to assemble. Good luck, and hoped this helped.

SOURCE: 2005 Acura TL Radio/Nav code

Your navigation code and radio codes writed on stikers on glovebox. Just open your glovebox and look on left side of gloivebox, not inside but outside. Open glovebox and look on left side. On my 2005 Acura RL NAV and Radio codes is different but it both on glove box. Sometime you even need to remove your glovebox cover to see those codes.

SOURCE: I need a radio code for my 1999 acura TL.

You must contact the parts department of your local Acura dealer to get this code. You will need to show them your car's registration to prove that you are the owner. You may be able to get the code with only the registration and the VIN code (found on the registration). Some manufacturers require the serial number on the radio, which would require that the radio be removed from the car to see the serial number.

SOURCE: how to get code for 2005 acura tl radio code

just had this happen to me, you need to find the radio serial number, if you bought from a dealer then they should have put the number on the glove box plastic frame inside the glove box. If it is not there nor in your manual then you will have to take it in and get your radio taken out to see the serial number on the back of the actual radio. Once you find the serial number you can call any Acura dealer and give them the radio serial number and they will give you the code.

Hands free link stopped working on 2005 Acura tl

You might try disconnecting the battery and then pushing the on button on the radio. Hopefully you have a copy of the radio code nuber in case that is necessary. Then reconnect the car battery and set up your bluetooth link again.

2004 tl acura radio reset code - if number on glove box higher than preset numbers what do I do

The numbers on the radio screen after pressing 1 & 6 are the serial number to retrieve the radio code!

The 4 digit number on the glovebox is probably the radio code, keep pressing preset number 1 until the first number is on the screen, then press preset number 2 until the second number is on the screen, then press preset number 3 until the third number is on the screen, then press preset number 4 until the fourth number is on the screen!

Radio code for acura 2003 3.2 tl

Generally this wokr in newer Honda and Acura's...
1. Turn on engine w/ radio off. Push and hold down buttons 1, 6, and power.
2. Got the letter "U" followed by 4 numbers and then letter "L" followed by 4 numbers; write down those numbers.
3. Go to Honda.com
4. Click on Owners home link.
5. On that page you should see an option for retrieving radio codes for honda/acura
6. You will need to enter Vin#, home phone number and zip code of the original owner. This will then give you the radio code.

Hope helps.

We just replaced the battery in our 2005 Acura TL and now the radio will not work. All that comes up on the screen is CODE.

In these vehicles, there is an anti-theft system embedded. In order to retrieve the code, call your local dealer.

The above tells you how to retrieve the serial no. from the display of the radio by pushing certain buttons.

Also, some cars have a card with serial no. in the left part of the glove box.

Replacing car battery 2005 acura tl radio does not work "CODE" appears on radio

This is the security code for theft radio system; add it; the radio code generaly is in back side of the radio, or in the owners manual (last page). If you dont have anyone, need to call the Acura dealer with the VIN car number (sometimes need to pay for this service).

Hope helped (remember coment and rated this post).
