I have 2 fobs, new batteries in both and they both are doing the same think. Door locks work fine on the car (door switches), just not on either remote? so, cant be the remotes, is there a sensor on the car that is only for the doors that could be out? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

sorry not sure the 12v prob will help this swtich works on 5v off 3v unlock 1v lock single wire lock/unlock logic signals
I found wiring diagrams at
http://www.dodge.com/bodybuilder/2004/docs/wd/rswd/tc.pdf
it is 2004 but use the wiring diagrams to test the wires
(most likely to fail where they flex)
because it is using logic gates disconnect the plug at each end of the wire you are testing or the damn thing will find a few diffrent ways to trick you.
SOURCE: Remote door locks don't work with both keyfobs unless it is in the car
Replace the battery in the key fob and try again. That's the number 1 problem solver for this.
SOURCE: neither key fob is working to open the car with
open door. when alarm goes off put key in ignition and turn it on start car. this should disarm the factory alarm.

unlock with key and hold key over for 30 secs(windows may go down)then lock with key and hold over for 30 secs(windows may go up)then press remote unlock button and hold for 30 secs, you have just reset system...the closer you have to get to the car for the remote to work the lower the battery power.sensor on top of dash(little black dimple)rarely,if at all, goes wrong.....
