My Mazda 323 familia 1.6ltr a/t 2000model I change my ATF and cleaning the filter and valvebody then I return to there perspective area.. The problem is I lost my reverse shift. My question is? What is the possible cause of no reverse. Nxt question how can I fix my no reverse shift? Tanx
I would say you have broken you reverse band, the only cure is remove the gearbox(major), Does you gearbox have a reverse servo, it is normally on the side of the box

Use a scanner to confirm whether you might have a fault on the automatic gearbox,or the gear box ecu is not working or the gear box is un serviceable and needs replacement.

Sorry buddy, but the selunoids valves are not good, when you remove the trans filter you will find. A good mechanic could do the job because if you do not install the wires properly it will be a mess.
