2002 Denali will not start. While driving the battery light came on stayed on for a while then went off. No issues while driving I got home parked the vehicle and when I came out to drive again the vehicle had no power at all. I tried jumping the battery to start but still nothing would not crank or anything...total electrical outage...any suggestions what could be the issue.... This is a fairly new battery that is in the truck

I would check all connections on the starter large terminal, including the fusible links at the starter first.

SOURCE: shuts off while driving. no fuel pressure. pcm fuse blows/ fuel pump relay inserted.

Sounds like the fuel pump is shorted.

SOURCE: My 2004, GMC Envoy would not start!

loose battery connection, or you left your lights or something else on then you got your jump. on the drive home the battery had a chance to charge enough to start up 10 hours later.

Turn ignition switch ON then OFF then depress and release gas pedal 5 times to reset the computer. Worked for me.

SOURCE: needs a jump every day

It sounds like the battery has a dead cell in it. Replace the battery. If you have an alarm installed remove the in line fuse from the alarm and see if that stops the battery drain.

2002 grand am, installed new battery, parking light stays on when key removed

The lights will stay on with or without the keys on most cars if the switch itself isn't turned off, also make sure all the doors are closed tight, and the sensors on the doors are working correctly.

02 yukon denali security light stays on will not

Several GM products, including the Chevrolet Impala and Malibu, the Oldsmobile Alero, the Pontiac Grand Prix, and Saturn Ion, have issues with the Security light coming on. This is many times an indication of a failing Body Control Module (BCM). Initially, the Security light will come on then go off, progressing to a constant on light, before the car will refuse to start. Other symptoms may include erratic action of electronics, a clicking sound coming from the glove box, and the air conditioning failing to blow cold air. I recommend a shop that specializes in the electronic systems of vehicles to diagnosis and make the necessary repairs. They should keep the car until they replicate the symptoms described. A new BCM from GM should cost about $230; plan on another $200 for them to diagnose the problem, replace the unit, and program the new unit. The dealers quote between $700 and $1,100 for the same repair. My experience and the experiences I have read on the internet, indicate the new BCM should last only about a year.

Guages when crazy. Now won't even try to start.

You likely have it repaired by now but it sounds like a classic case of oxidized battery or cable connection (sometimes mis-diagnosed as bad battery but cured with new (clean) battery)
