A quick check of the heater core is to feel both heater hoses after the engine has fully warmed up. If both heater lines are hot, the coolant is circulating. If one feels cooler than the other, flushing it backwards with a low volume garden hose might help, unless there is a water valve in one of the lines that is closed-only some have a valve, not all cars. Pull the hoses off and try it. Some have even used an air compressor blow gun. If a lot of crud comes out, you may have fixed it.
Sometimes, the older cars get, the rubber seals on the heater case deteriorate, so cool air can sneak in and the heater just doesn't work as well. Big job to fix that. Try flushing the core if you think it needs it, and check heater case doors operation-maybe the temperature blend door is not opening fully.

Most transmission problems are caused by the transmission oil getting old and sticky. There are valves in the valve body that are precision fit and need good lubrication to work properly. When problems start they are usually caused by a valve getting stuck and not moving into the position it is suppose to be in.

I recommend a flush to remove all the old fluid with new. There are many auto repair shops that will perform a flush, but you want to be sure they run a cleaner through your transmission first, as that will clean out the sticky old deposits that are causing the valves to stick. If they do not offer a cleaner you can do it yourself. I recommend BG's transmission cleaner. It comes in a dual pack of cleaner before the flush and conditioner after the flush. You can often find this cleaner on eBay or Amazon, as most auto part stores don't carry these products. BG sells their products to the shops that perform the flush, so they are not easily available in stores, just auto repair shops.

Could be just a varnished valve body or a stuck valve, have a BG trany flush with the cleaner and conditioner done, that will clean and fix any stuck components in trany,I ve had could luck with this machine, find a garge in your area that does BG TRANY FLUSHES, hope this helps,

usually the fuse pannel is under the drivers side dash or under the hood in a black box just take off the lid and on the under side of it usually all the fuses positions are labled

The 15amp fuse for the front cigar lighter is located in right rear of trunk next to battery. SHould ba a black cover over the fuse block assembly.
