if you have cold air in the rear then it isn't the a/c compressor. if no air comes out of the front vents the it is either the blower motor or the blower motor resistor.
Could be a leak in one of your AC hoses, or the compressor isn't kicking on. You can usually tell if the compressor comes on visually, so that is an easy one to check. If you have the gauges you can check the pressure of the AC system to make sure that it hasn't leaked out.
CHECK BLOWER MOTOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF BLOWER MOTOR GOOD STILL BLOWING.CHECK AC COMPRESSOR FUSE AND RELAY.IF COMPRESSOR FUSE AND RELAY GOOD.CHECK AC LOW SIDE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 28 - 30 PSI AND HIGH SIDE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 200 - 220 PSI. IF PRESSURE GOOD THE COMPRESSOR CLUTCH COIL COULD OPEN.CHECK DRIVE BELT MAKE SURE NOT LOOSE AND SLIPPING.
Check owners manual for location of heater blower motor front, check with a test light,if it's good locate blower motor under glove box and test the two wires for power when switch is turned on,if power is present motor needs changed.if no power check blower motor resister.
The front blower resister has gone out The location is under the right side of the dash and not hard to get at once the lower panel is removed .The part runs about $30 i hope this helps:)
The problem is most likely the AC compressor clutch connector.
It is a one pin connector. Located under the hood, near the clutch of the AC compressor. Clean this connector, make sure there is a good connection. I had the same problem and had to fix it myself. Works fine ever since.
