If you have a gas hot water heater that won't stay on, check to see if pilot light is out and relight it if it is. If you have an electric hot water heater that won't stay on, then you should have an electrician check the wiring. if you need an auto tool you can click here: chinasinoy.com
i beleive you did more than that.? you,ll probably find all have a common earth , chech and remove it , clean with a wire brush and replace, also chance the fuse you removed and replacer reguardless of it,s appearence , ensure its put back in the correct location, peter.
Your fan or heater likely shorted out and burned up, causing your one of the main fuses to blow due to the spike in current. You will need to determine what burnt up and replace it before replacing the fuse, or you may create a fire hazard or cause further equipment damage. Also double check any changes to wiring to make sure that everything is hooked up properly.
Check your heater hoses for leaks, if they are fine you need to check the heater switch. The switch looks like a spring and is located on the front side of the heater core. Two screws and it comes out, if it is not broken check for water leaks. Your heater core is shot.
