Antitheft light and all the others turn on and rpm and cooling gauge stop working

If all the gauges on your 2008 Chevy Tahoe have stopped working, it is possible that there may be an issue with the instrument cluster itself. Several thoughts, did you stop at a light or did it die while driving? Make sure that the battery cables are tight and clean. The positive cable are two cables tightened by one bolt. Make sure that connection is good.

That's still under warranty, is it not? Take it to the dealer - let the manufacturer pay for the fix.

SOUND LIKE SHORT IN GAUGES. HEAT WILL CAUSE SHORT TO WORK.HEAT FROM THE SUN WILL CAUSE PLASTIC EXPAND WHEN PLASTIC SHRINK BACK IT WILL CRACK.IF CLUSTER GAUGE HAS A CRACK IN THE CIRCUIT BOARD HEAT WILL CAUSE PARTS EXPAND ENOUGH TO WORK AGAIN.

If the eng. Is cranking over could be spark or fuel or antitheft is enabled is the antitheft light on or is there an aftermarket alarm antitheft device installed on vehicle?if you have a key fob try changing the battery in fob.

please keep me posted as well, ALL my gauges are doing the same. First the gas, filled it one day and it fell all the way and light turned on, then my themostat, freaked me out, thought i was overheating,...NO just the guage, NOW my spedometer is stuck on 120, and my RPM's are acting crazy. i have read tons with this same problem, WHY WONT the manufacturer DO SOMTHING??

Check the fuse for those items that don't work.

sounds like your missing a ground somewhere.

it might be a fuse under the hood or fuse panel or connection to the gauges them selves
