Home 1997 Oldsmobile Regency 97 olds... 97 OLDS REGANCY CLIMATE CONTROL PROBLEMS AFTER REMOVING AND REINSTALLING A BATTER? 1997 Oldsmobile Regency • 6 cylinder 2WD Automatic • 182,000 miles I have a 97 olds regancy,i had to use the battery the otherday and put it back in last night, the car gets to temp like normal and heats up, but then starts blowing cold air? it has a new thermostat, but never done this till i removed the battery? the climat control keeps saying auto and sets the temp on 80 or 85,if i shut it off and start back up, i have heat for a minute or so, then back to cool air. i looked in my owners manual and tried to set the climat, but it just goes back to 85 , what am i doing wron, or what is wrong? never had this at all till i removed the battery, is it like a default code on something or what? thanks
SOURCE: heating system
it is the control module u set for heat/ac in the center of the dash, all the electronics are in side this module that do the switching and maintain the temp u set
SOURCE: 1994 Olds Dual Climate Control blows cold on passenger side
the heat door is probably stuck.that why temp light flashing
SOURCE: 99 Buick Regal LS dual climate control. No heat passenger side.
the motor for the passenger side
blend door is shot
It sounds like the system is fried. Based on the description, it is just pulling in the outside air and not doing anything to heat or cool the flow. Unfortunately, this is a job for your preferred mechanic.
