This is from the factory service manual of your car:
There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Translation you need the dealer to do this.

    I'm not sure how accurate this is for a Santa Fe, but I'm going to look on my own vehicle for this and see if it's there. According to this link, you CAN program this yourself and you can get a keyfob from just about anywhere online these days.

    My information came from a site that sells FOBS and provides programming instructions, they say u can't do the program and that is what i went on
