if the engine light doesn't light up, when the key is turned on to accessories position, along with other lights, that means that the cars computer is not turned on, powered up. that's why its not starting. the car is not seeing the computer. could be blown fuse, ground side for computer is broken, could be harness issue and it could be the computer itself. start with checking fuses first. check all of them. you may find one burned.

I've got a np200 not 3 months yet , drove 6584km, drove the other day and dash caught on fire ,they say the radio is at fault , I say they fitted it, they stumped. now they looking for a reason why they can replace or repair.

Time to put the OBDII Reader on the computer. Do not start, just ignition on if you have a cheap code reader, no reader, visit ebay.

SOURCE: The Fuel light ia permanently on even if it is filled up on My Nissan NP200 (2011 model). How do I switch it off or reset it?

I know if you take the negative cable off the battery for a couple minutes it will remove trouble codes/check engine light. The codes will come back later if your car really has a problem. I think I would see if your car has any codes. Most auto part stores where I live will check the trouble codes for free.
