Cd player wont turn on

pull the player out but leave it connected. when you push the eject button,lightly tap on the top of the cd player, if there is one jammed, you may want to consider just getting a new cd player, it may do the same to your cd!

hook up all your wires to the harness and the cd player EXCEPT the ground take and run both wires to the firewall or something metal instead of hooking them up together

I had an identical problem. Turns out my battery did not have sufficient voltage/amperage to operate the CD player......although it would start the enjine just fine. When I replaced the battery the CD worked fine!

The problem is you have the two wires hooked together. It's back feeding. One has to be hooked to key power. and one to all time power.

This is common problem with CD players. Try to clean the Lens first by using CD cleaner. If same issue will happen after cleaning. You need to bring the unit to an electrician and have it opened and have the Lens adjusted.

take the panel off 4 screws or so just on cd player & over heater control . remove cd player , cover screw's , wire harness ... cd 's probably stuck . remove all cd's put everything back together install cd's again . took me 6month's to figure out my girlfriend did in less than hour with wout breaking a nail!!!!!! lol gd luck .

first, you have to obtain the serial number for the CD played. To obtain this, turn the CD player off, hold down the #1 and #6 buttons at the same time. While holding these buttons, turn the power on. The serial number will flash with 2 sequences of 4 numbers each (the serial number is a total of 8 digits). Call a Honda dealership with this serial number and they can provide you with the security code to access the CD player. Hope this helps.

that model is the older cd player so the newer cds are more compersed so the laser well not read it

The anti-theft lock is turned on use the owners manual to get the unlock procedure,or take to a dealer to get unlocked around 30.00
