What size battery cold cranking amps do I need for a 1999 Dodge Caravan

Depends if it is petrol or diesel 12 volt or 24 volt system. I have all ways fitted the largest battery that will fit in the battery tray, I find they last longer, and have some reserve if i use lights in the van.

Need a fuel system diagram for 1996 Dodge Caravan 3.3 liter

According to the parts book, the filter comes with the plastic lines attached, and should be in front of the gas tank.
It makes a difference if the van is a long or short wheelbase model.
Some models after 1996 had the filter in the tank.

I need to know where to find the child anchor for a 1996 dodge caravan

There are no child anchors on a 96. This was around the time the latch system was under development. Just went through looking into this for my 1996 van. chico car seat fit well

The newer van seats will not fit either( I do have a 2007 seat for sale now ) as I tried to make one fit in my 1996 van with the latch system and it didnt fit. Wheels right spacing too wide for the anchor points.

Not sure what size of 6 cylinder you have so please pick the correct one for your motor size:

1996 Dodge Caravan
3.8 liter V-6 VIN "L"

1996 Dodge Caravan
3.3 liter V-6 VIN "R"

3.0 liter V-6 VIN "3"

I need a diagram for the two fuse boxes on a 96 dodge grand caravan. 3.3 engine. also i need to know where the fuse box is inside the van. we accidentally hooked up the battery backwards, and i replaced...

there is probably a fusible link in the cable leading from the battery to the starter.if so it must be replaced.

What is the battery amps for a dodge caravn 1998

You didn't give me an engine size so I estimated the CCA (cold cranking amps) at minimum 685 for a 3.0 liter engine.
If you install this particular battery it will cover any one of the engines that were offered for you van at that time.

I have a 1996 Dodge Caravan that just had a trans rebuilt in it. Just bought a new starter and a new battery and the van will not turn over. It clicks but wont fire up...I am lost I dont know what else to...

pull off the left front tire and put a socket on the harmonic balencer pully and see if you can turn the engine by hand!!
if not then its locked up !!!
let me know the resaults!!!

Your cars battery might only need charging or battery acid replacement, but if you'd realy wish to buy new one, buy one with the same size and voltage and amps as the one you have right now, or you could buy a battery with the same voltage with a higher amppere-hour (Ah) rating!

Battery size depends on the electrical needs that your van came equipped with. The owners manual can tell you the battery size that should be installed. If you no longer have the manual then you should check with the local dealer for the proper battery size. A battery of 825- 850 amps can work to start and run your vehicle. Hope this helps.
