just buy this car like that, not told any history.?
never have I seen any IMMO security failure allow engine to run so my guess means doors ajar or the like.(only, body alarm stuff)
battery lamp means alternator is dead. charge lamp. it is wired directly too lamp to alternator pin.
it means ALT is bad, or its fuse to it blown
or battery cells shored, and ALT goes off line to prevent battery explosion. (ruptured and ACID all over things horror)
if cranking sounds normal the battery is ok for now , but will die soon.. 13-15vdc at the battery car idling
if lower volts ALT is bad, or 3 fuse blown to it.
I had the same car with the same problem its the silent alarm get out of the car put the key in the lock then lock it unlock lock it unlock if that doesnt fix it try the same thing with the trunk this should turn off the silent alarm I hope this helps good luck
there are many things that can cause stalling a dirty iac (idle air controller) is just 1 of them, clogged fuel filter is another, water in the fuel, clogged air filter, and don't even get me started on alarm systems, especially after market alarms can all cause issues, it could also be a bad mass air flow sensor.i would go least expensive to most expensive, start with cleaning things before replacing them
You have two pumps,I guess you know that ,if you already did one. Did you check fuel pressure at the rail and check out the electronic pressure regulator? What codes are coming up and do they stay set?
faulty computer faulty wiring excessive carbon in combustion chamber, when hot, pre-ignition occurs. try using high octane gasoline first, but wait until empty, before filling up. it will take some time before the new gaz gets to the engine as the gaz lines and pump still have the old gaz.
another possibillity is water in the gaz tank. when cold the gaz enrichment might compensate .
