Thanks Greg.. I will try that in the morning. I was trying to eject disc 1 this morning and it would not eject it. Now it acts like it is stuck in eject mode.. Will let you know the results..Hopefully it will work.. Ford places wants 450 to send it off to be fixed...NOT!

    cd changer won't eject

  • Anonymous Mar 28, 2014

I placed a CD into the slot and now it's stuck. Is there a reset button that will eject it? I tried pressing the load button and it says ejecting CD, but the CD does not come out and there is no noise.

One common solution is to disconnect the negative battery cable for 10minutes. When you reconnect, the stereo should reset itself and allow you to eject your CD's . Best of luck!

SOURCE: 6 disc changer will not eject cds==

I had the same problem for months. I checked the owners manual, checked the fuse box, everything I could think of. Then, today, I did some online research and someone said one of the CD's is probably just jammed or slipped out a bit. The suggestion was to gently slide a credit card over the disk (through the door/slot, which in my case was partially open). I just tried it. The door closed and the message said "initializing". It worked! The CD player is back to normal.

It should display no cd,s cd error etc
The reason i ask this is to confirm that connection is ok to stacker
To eject PRESS AND HOLD eject button, insert credit card under cartridge, push fully in and move left/right untill eject
This will locate micro switch,so you can check discs

Toyota dashboard CD player won't eject

I had this say problem with my 2000 solara. Here is the fix, remove one of the car battery terminals for a couple of mins (3-4mins). The reattach the battery terminal back. This would make your cd player and car clock reset. once you start your car you should be able to eject the cds. You'll just need to reprogram all your preset radio station. Hope it helps
