I just bought an 82 TF Holden Gemini with a 1.8L Isuzu motor in it. When I put the clutch all the way to the floor, the car stalls. The guy I bought it off said it was a solenoid but it is a 5spd manual. I know I need to replace the brake booster as well but I don't think this would relate to the clutch problem - Please save my day so I can get back on the road asap
Check clutch plate and pressure plate
Testimonial: "Thank you for your reply Ian...My Gemini is off to the mechanic on Monday. I ended up tightening the clutch cable and increasing the idle speed and it rarely stalls now. Will get it checked out further tomorrow"
Try clutching halfway down if you find all the gears then you need some adjustment . Regardless what type of clutch system you have cable or fluid. If you have fluid you can try shortening the push rod at the gear box end, that's by slave cylinder. If you have cable there is probably an adjustment nut which you can unscrew little by little to make your adjustment . Good luck and keep posting

Do you have to depress the clutch to start the car?Well it might be something in the( safety switch) of the clutch that is shorting out causing it to want to die out

found local Adelaide engine reconditioning shop that knows all about g200 twin cam EFI isuzu motors for parts and engine components ( pistons, rings, bearings etc. ) and machining, Chris Milton engine reconditioning. They will do machine work for me so then i can put it together.
SOURCE: LPG not working
I had this problem recently -- dealer told me it was the fuel pump (without looking -- it wasn't); then I had the distributor replaced (definitely needed it, but it wasn't that either); ultimately turned out to be the crank position sensor (solved the problem).
Recommendation: go to a reputable mom-and-pop shop, or if you'
re able, do the repair yourself.
Best of luck to you.
SOURCE: Automatic transmission adjustment
It could easily be much more than tightening the bands. The transmission may have to be rebuilt. Tell the seller to go ahead and have the bands tightened and show you the bill, and that you will pay it if it is only tightening bands. Bet he will not do that.

the tcm may be faulty or has a loose ground, try swaping in another if you can get one borrowed or a cheap used one from a salvage unit
