If you keep blowing a fuse there's a good chance it's not a faulty part but a short in the main harness most likely under the dash where all the connectors tend to get brittle over time and short out constantly. also check the ecm connection there is a 60 pin type.

Why won't it start?

So do you know for a fact you don't have spark when it fails to start ? ?
And do you know for sure that the injector has power and a ground signal ?
Will it try to start if you spray cleaner into the throttle body even with normal fuel pressure ?
Since you have a distributor, you have an ign control module, but you also have a pickup coil which may be in the bottom of the dist.
Could be a problem with one of the connectors too.

1989 Chevy 2500 pickup. Two months ago I was driving and truck just died. After it cooled off it would crank for maybe 5 seconds then would not crank. Replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. Still...

You can have the coil and module tested at most auto parts stores. The module provides the ground signal to the coil. It could also be the pickup coil in the bottom of the distributor.

96 jeep cheokee problems no spark

I would make sure you have voltage to the coil. Could be a fuse or relay problem. Is the check engine light on when you turn the key on ?

'87 ford van w/302 just died,no spark,replaced ign.mod. &ign.coil.still no spark.

mark the distributor and pull it out, turn the key on.with module wires connected, ground the dist. body and spin the gear, with the cap off, you should hear a light spark or tick in the distribtor, if not the pickup in the dist. is bad. a rebuilt distributor is probably cheaper than the pickup alone.
