89 f-250 fuel injected 460 engine replaced everything-injectors-relays- low pressure fuel pump-high pressurefuelpump fuel filter blew out fuel lines replaced fuel regulator theres no check engine lite on did I say fuel injectors replaced can you help me locate the inertia fuel shotoff switch? I got a lot of guesses and might-bes I would like to know its location for sure thank-you got-a-lot of money into this nite-mare cant stop now
This should be in the owner's manual. I found the below on autozone.com, their repair help location:
An inertia switch is used as a safety device in the fuel system. The inertia switch is located in the cab, generally under the dashboard on the right side. It is designed to open the fuel pump power circuit in the event of a collision. The switch is reset by pushing each of 2 buttons on the switch simultaneously (some models use switches with only one reset button). The inertia switch should not be reset until the fuel system has been inspected for damage or leaks.
When the ignition switch is ON , it turns the EEC power relay ON . The EEC power relay provides power to the powertrain control module (PCM) and the control side of the fuel pump relay. Power for the fuel pump(s) is supplied through a fuse link or high current fuse attached to the starter solenoid (battery side). From the fuse link or high current fuse, current flows through the fuel pump relay and inertia switch to the fuel pump(s). The fuel pump relay is controlled by the PCM.
When the ignition switch is turned ON , the fuel pump(s) will operate. If the ignition switch is not turned to the START position the PCM will shut the fuel pump(s) OFF after 1 second. The PCM will operate the fuel pump(s) operate the fuel pump(s) when the ignition switch is turn to START position to provide fuel while cranking.
After the engine starts, the PCM will continue to operate the fuel pump(s) unless the engine stops, drops below 120 rpm or the inertia switch is tripped.

put a test light on the ground wire to a 12v power source and see if the pump is grounded properly

you can release the pressure by a presure nozzle on the top of the motor, mine is on the passenger side of the motor has a black cap and looks like a valve stim for a tire kinda. any how take the cap off and you can use a tire pressure chuck to release the pressure

on some fords it is on pass side kick panel you have to feel in a hole and you will feel a reset button, hope this helps
If the vehicle is equipped with a pressure relief valve, install an EFI/CFI fuel pressure gauge T80L9974B or equivalent and depressurize the fuel system. If the vehicle is not equipped with a pressure relief valve, the fuel filter connection should be covered with a shop rag or towel to prevent the fuel from spraying during the removal procedure. It is also possible to reduce the amount of pressure in the fuel system by locating the inertia switch (usually located in the luggage compartment) and disconnecting the electrical connection on the inertia switch. Next crank the engine for 15 seconds to reduce the system pressure
