The brake lights on our 1986 volvo 740 wagon have stopped working. All other lights, front and rear, are working fine, but none of the three brake lights (including center window mount) are working. The bulbs, fuse, wiring connections, etc (that can be easily accessed) have been checked and do not seem to be the culprit. I know these volvos are notorious for their bad wiring (our temperature gauge hasnt worked since we bought the car) but we are really hoping there is some affordable way to fix this as we really cant safely drive it without them and cant afford to overhaul the electrical system. Thanks for any help.
