I've checked all the fuses(In the car, and under the hood), and none of them are blown. I tested the bulbs, and they are OK. The rear running lights do come on, but nothing on the front. The turn lamp has two elements, one for park. Side note: the forward/back/up/down switch on the driver's electric seat may have stopped working at the same time, I'm not sure.

in every transmission there is a reverse light switch, located on the tranny itself. it looks like an oil pressure switch, sorta threaded plug with a wide outside end with terminals for the wires. you may havta replace that.

Running lights in front sides of vehicle short out in time. I simply disconnected the plugs found inside the front wheel wells and packed them with grease for time being. When the weather improves I will find the chaffed insulation and repair. Replaced the 15amp fuse found under the hood and shwing, back on the road.

Check the fuse box inside the car which is usually located on the drivers side beside the pedals or in the bottom of the Dash Panel..

does the A/C still work? The button has it's own tiny tiny bulb in it and if that is the problem you have to take the whole thing apart to get to it and frist see if you can get this bulb. Or does the A/C not work at that time?

This is likely caused by using the wrong bulb.
You can certainly purchase after market bulbs of more modern technology that provide much better illumination than the manufacturer recommended brand. HOWEVER, those bulbs having a matching part number to what is recommended does NOT mean it is what you should necessarily use. The reason is the wattage. Higher wattage produces more heat.
Try a bulb of a lower wattage rating. I recommend going no higher than 20 watts beyond your original rating, do not allow the bulb glass to get dirty while installing nor touch with your bare fingers, and inspect your ground connections to the headlight assembly for any breakage, corrosion or looseness. Good luck!
