2000 Hyundai Sonata jerking and causing poor performance

I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata that is jerking and causing the check engine light to come on.The car runs sluggish and has a delayed take off while the light is on. We were told that replacing the crank postion sensor would fix the problem, but it did not. It is now giving the following codes: (P1529) Idle Speed Control Auxiliary Input and (P0715) Turbine Speed Sensor A Circut Malfunction. None of the auto stores have any suggestions or parts. Please help!

The turbine shaft speed sensor can cause this problem, It is also know as the transmission input shaft speed sensor. It will cause the transmission to **** and also stick in 3rd gear, which wound cause slow acceleration.

I am having a very similar problem with my '01 Sonata. I had it in to the dealer and they said the same thing. It seems to be the input speed sensor. Good to hear someone else diagnose it the same way, I just had my timing belt and serpentine belt changed, this problem never occured before replacing them. So I was worried that there was a problem with the installation. Thanks.

2011 Hyundai Sonata drove through a puddle today and the check engine light was blinking and the car started jerking pulled over and left the car is it safe to drive it back to my house

It's possible you may have caused some internal damage due to water being introduced to the engine via the intake.

Have you tried to start the vehicle since you shut it off?

I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata that runs rough when you start it up. I hooked a code reader to it and it said that system was lean on bank 1 and multi misfire and not reading 02 sensor on bank one. I have...

time to get the engine properly scanned, real time not code scanner, then you will have the readings from sensore and actuators, diagnose from there
