Use the correct size spark plug socket, ratchet wrench, extensions and possible a universal or swivel adapter. Remove the plug wire, remove plug with socket/wrench, insert and snug down new socket and firmly seat plug wire. Do one at a time so as not to cross wires uo. Be careful inserting new plug so as not to cross the threads uo and make sure the gap of the plug is correct for you engine.

Dashboard light quit working and heater too and cant lock and unlock doors from inside car but will work with keyless entry

Blew a fuse in the fuse panel by your left foot sitting in the car. Look in the owners manual to see which one is the lighter fuse. It's usually a yellow 20 amp fuse.if you pull it out and look at it,you'll see a wire that loops inside it. If the wire is broken, replace the fuse and keep the screwdrivers out of the lighter socket.Good luck!

Are the heatsheild on sparkplug wires attached to sparkplug wireboot or attached to head some how I dont want to mess up wires

They usually aren't attached per se, they fit in a socket that is snug enough to hold them. But the spark plug wires trap them into position. So you can go ahead and pull the spark plug wire off.

One thing to remember, when you go to replace the spark plugs you won't be able to see if they are cross thread in their hole, so DO NOT use a socket until you are sure the are properly seated and not cross threaded.

What is the best way to change the spark plugs?

The coils will need to be removed first, then take compressed air and blow out the spark plug tubes, then you can replace the spark plugs. Use only Motorcraft Platinum Spark Plugs. Unless you know what you are doing, I would recommend a repair shop.

Remove spark plugs on 2003 fiesta 1.3 8v

You can purchase a sparkplug wrench at AutoZone $8 ...

It has a "T" handle and a 5/8 inch socket on a "universal joint".

or ... use a 3/8 inch ratchet and a short extension and a 5/8 inch deep socket ..... go with the AutoZone wrench.

Ask the AutoZone clerk for a 1 foot piece of rubber hose (seriously) so that you can grip the sparkplug with it and not mess-up the sparkplug hole threads on the motor. The clerk will explain.

Hope thsi helps!
