sun visor pivot point has broken plastic around post to hold visor up . the whole visor will need replaced to correct issue

To attach the sun visor to the cab roof it SHOULD be attached with 3 phillips head screws. IF you're talking the sun visor to the rod, it can be a challenge but can be done. The following video may help. Cut to 4:12 for the sun visor portion. Hope this helps.

Contact your local dealer. They will be able to get you a new visor. The part that holds it in the up postion is worn out and the only way to fix it is to replace the entire visor.

You can look that up in the owners manual, it contains all fuse box diagrams, if you don't have the OM then go here to download one.

Only thing I can find is; Molding, Liftgate WDO SI RVL (R or L). This probably a dealer item or you can search junk yards.

a creative solution is to use velcro tape. a piece on the visor and a matching piece on the roof liner

At the Point where the Viser attaches to the Roof, There are Screws to Tighten this. There is also a Screw on the Back side of the Visor that will let you tighten the Movement of the Visor.

I just fixed this same problem on my 1993 Toyota Camry.

First, I tried velcro, but in the hot weather the glue wouldn't hold to the fabric so the fix only lasted about 6 months.

Just now I gerryrigged a black office paper clip - the big kind with the black clip attached to two big silver metal hands - to the visor and metal arm.

Magic, it's fixed, and for free.
